Canadian Idol Top 24: Paul Clifford

Paul Clifford, 25
Port Moody, B.C.

Canadian Idol Top 24 competitor Paul Clifford was born and raised in London, England, and now hes trying his luck at scoring the title of Canadian Idol.

Clifford has been living in Canada for eight years, and tried out for the singing competition last year and just like Jessica Sheppard of Whitby, Ont., Clifford was one of the final people cut right before making it into last years Top 22.

So this year, he decided to try it all again, and walked into his initial audition to sing The Foo Fighters Time Like These.

It helped me a lot this year, it gave me experience. This is my third time, actually so I wouldnt say it was relaxing but I know what I was expecting, says Clifford, 25. For me the competition really started once I got into the Top 22, and that was my goal this year.

This year its all about having the opportunity and the chance to be involved in music and to make some kind of living out of it. Clifford has played gigs in and out of coffee shops, but its never led to anything concrete.

I definitely feel I have one of the most unique voices and I have to use that to my advantage, he says. Getting into the Top 10 would be something phenomenal to me, just the exposure and the chances and opportunities that can come from that would be amazing.

Grey's stars say Chambers is now "fine"

Justin Chambers' 'Grey's Anatomy' co-stars have said that the actor is "doing just fine" following his stint in a psychiatric ward recently.
According to People magazine, James T Pickens, who plays Dr Richard Webber, said: "[Justin] just needed a break. He said: 'Man I'm fine'."
He also said that the actor was planning on spending some time relaxing with his family. "[He] thanked everybody for their concern but everybody's good," Pickens said.
Chambers' co-star Chandra Wilson, who plays Dr Miranda Bailey in the show, also said: "Everybody goes through stuff. It's no different than anybody else in the world. We just happen to be in the public eye...  Justin's doing just fine."
A representative for Chambers recently confirmed that he checked himself into a psychiatric ward because of a sleeping disorder.
